started with Ron Sr. In 1984. After 18 years of working for other companies, first as siding installer, then master carpenter and finally as installation manager, Ron saw an opportunity to fulfill a life long dream of uniting the finest installation crews in the tri-state area under one banner. He did so and thus United Home Energy was born. UHE was incorporated in 1984. It was a family affair right from the start. Wife Carol, Ron Jr., cousins, uncles and life long installation mechanic friends, comprised the company. Their common goal was to build the finest, most reliable siding and window installation company in the business. Since UHE incorporated in1984,the company has installed well over 15000 jobs in NJ, PA and DE.  UHE maintained a Better Business Bureau membership in good standing, in all 3 states.

In 1994, Ron Jr formed his own company United Home Remodelers. He planned to create a sister company, which would compliment UHE’s offerings with additional products and services. His father, Ron Sr, noting his son’s ambition, convinced him to shelf the project, asked him to stay on with UHE, and promoted him to assistant manager. In 2005, the township of Cinnaminson, in order clean up and redevelop the neighborhood, threatened to invoked ‘eminent domain’ over the entire 30 acre area. This included UHE’s 5 acre site. Ron Sr., being past retirement age, had no desire to search for a new site, move and then start all over. He decided to sell the 5 acres to the developer, close UHE and retire. Rather than seeing the UHE’s family of installers and employees break up and go their own way, Ron Jr. hired and united them all under the United Home Remodelers. Ron Jr.’s UHR has now expanded into more phases of construction, including kitchens and bathrooms, while maintaining customer satisfaction and excellence as its primary goal.
